Other Cocurricular Activities DUKE OF EDINBURUGH’S AWARD The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an internationally recognised award open to students aged between 14 and 23 years of age. (You must be 14 years old to start.) It consists of three awards; Bronze, Silver and Gold. For each award a student must complete an activity from each of the four sections: Physical Recreation, Skill, Service and Expedition. It is a great opportunity for students to participate in a range of activities and camps throughout the year. CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT This is an annual event held at Peter Moyes Anglican Community School. The 2007 Carols By Candlelight was a community event which provided an exciting opportunity for the community groups of Peter Moyes Anglican Community School and the local parishes of Quinn’s Rocks and Brighton to join together to present a wonderful family evening. The evening was superb! It was made that way by the contributions of many staff and the enthusiastic response from a supportive school community. We look forward to further success in 2008.
