Charity Days
At Peter Moyes Anglican Community School we encourage our students to look outside themselves and to realise that we all have an obligation to help those less fortunate than ourselves. During the school year there are a number of opportunities for raising money for worthwhile causes. Each year the Chaplain organises fundraising for overseas missions such as St. Christopher’s Home in Fiji. In fourth term there is a collection of non-perishable food for Anglicare’s Christmas Appeal.
Each House also undertakes annual fund raising for a worthwhile cause. Such causes include the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Red Nose Day, Hollows Foundation and Telethon.
