I am very excited to share with you the launch of our new ‘Murdoch Ready’ packages valued at up to $1000 for all 2020 school leavers commencing full time undergraduate degree studies at Murdoch University in Semester 1 of 2021.
The Murdoch Ready packages are a further response to the impact of Covid19, and have been designed to financially support students’ transition to university study in 2021. Students will be able to select one of three packages on offer. The Murdoch Ready packages will replace the Murdoch First Scholarship program for 2021 entry. Issue of packages will commence in Orientation Week of Semester 1.
All packages will include a Murdoch study pack, hoodie and T-shirt. A brief overview of each package follows:
Tech Ready
· Voucher up to the value of $750 for office and technology products
Campus Life Ready
· Murdoch Bookshop voucher up to the value of $600
Commute Ready
· Voucher to support commuting to and from University up to the value of $600
Applicants will then have the opportunity to make the balance up to $1000 with Murdoch Money. Murdoch Money will allow the applicant to purchase goods and services on campus at participating outlets such as parking, gym, and food and beverage.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Murdoch Ready, students must:
Have applied for the Murdoch University Year 12 Uni Entry Safety Net or applied to study at Murdoch through TISC, and accepted an offer to study full time (minimum of three units) in a Bachelor Degree program (studying in internal or external mode). All entry pathways into all Bachelor Degree programs are eligible for the Murdoch Ready packages.
Complete their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) or equivalent from another Australian state or the International Baccalaureate program in 2020.
Commence their studies at Murdoch University in Semester 1, 2021 (no deferrals)
Students will be able to select their Murdoch Ready package from 21 Dec 2020, and details will be sent to students leading up to this date.

ECU Newsletter
Welcome to our June newsletter! We hope you, your family, students and colleagues are well.
We understand for your Year 12 students this year has been tough, with more uncertainties than usual and we are hoping to set them up for success.
We have introduced an Early Offer Program and are conscious of students who will appreciate and need additional support for their future studies. Therefore, we are introducing two new programs to assist current Year 12’s reach their potential with undergraduate studies at ECU:
- UniPrep Accelerate
- UniPrep Summer

We are continuing to take virtual event bookings and are able to take in person event bookings from the 1st July onwards.

Early Offer Program
We are pleased to advise that we will be offering an early offers program for Year 12 students for 2021 entry. Please find below the key points to note for ECU’s Early Offers program:
- Students who don’t have a predicted ATAR can apply with their Year 11 results;
- Year 12 students apply direct to ECU for the early offers;
- The ECU Early Offers webpage lists all courses that are eligible for early offers. For all other courses, normal application process/requirements will need to be followed; and
- Offers are conditional on students meeting ECU’s course entry and minimum admission requirements.

UniPrep Accelerate
This FREE course for Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents is aimed at your ATAR students with an ATAR between 55-69.95.
This course commences on January 4 and finishes on January 29. A total of 4 weeks of 3 units at full-time study load. Offered on the Joondalup campus only.
UniPrep Summer
This FREE course for Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents is aimed at your non-ATAR students, and those ATAR students expecting to receive an ATAR below 60.
The course commences in full-time study mode from 30###sup/sup### November and finishes on January 29 and has a 2 week gap from December 18 – January 4 for the typical holiday times.
The students will study 4 units and will receive RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) if they have completed ATAR Mathematics.
Offered on the Joondalup and South West (Bunbury) campus only
