Peter Moyes Anglican Community School is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection. Applicants will be required to undergo police and background checks in accordance with this policy.


Employment at the School is subject to the following compliance requirements:

  • Applicants for teaching positions must hold registration (or permission to teach) as permitted with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) 
  • General staff (non-teaching staff, including music tutors) must hold, or be prepared to undergo, a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check that confirms no record of relevant criminal activity as determined by the School.

Staff vacancies are usually advertised in Saturday’s West Australian Newspaper (Education Section), on www.seek.com.au, as well as on the School website.

Staff vacancies for a new academic year are usually advertised towards the end of Term 3 or the beginning of Term 4 in the previous year. The School is also pleased to receive written expressions of interest for positions that may arise.

Relief Teacher Applications

To apply to become a relief teacher at the School, please complete and return the Teacher Relief Registration Form, along with certified supporting document to hr@pmacs.wa.edu.au. The School encourages recent graduates to also apply.


The following documents are required:

  • CV
  • Certificates for qualifications
  • Statements of Service
  • TRBWA Registration Letter (Please make sure you provide both registration dates)
  • Working With Children Check Card


Your application will not be processed unless all supporting documents are provided. Only certified copies of documents will be accepted.


Relief Education Assistant Applications

To apply to become a relief education assistant at the School, please complete and return the Relief Education Assistant Registration Form, along with certified supporting document to hr@pmacs.wa.edu.au.


The following documents are required:

  • Certificates for qualifications
  • Working With Children Check Card
