A highlight of the ASC Week was the 4th biennial ASC Combined Schools Concert. Musical students from the Senior School and Middle School performed throughout the evening. Held at the Perth Concert Hall, close to 500 students sang and played in a joyous celebration of music. Our students joined with the other ASC Schools to play in combined choirs, jazz and string ensembles as well as concert and orchestras.
Astha Sinha and Ross Godwin spoke to the audience and named the winners of the ASC Piano Competition, held at Peter Moyes earlier in the year.
The culmination of ASC Week was the ASC Schools’ Eucharist at St George’s Cathedral on Sunday afternoon. Reverend Deeny assisted Bishop Kate in presiding over the Eucharist. Astha Sinha and Jake Alderson proudly carried the School’s banner in the Procession. The 2017 School Leaders participated in the service by reading prayers to a packed congregation. Supporting them were Krishan Nain, Nicola Viviers, Mr Julian Dowse. Mr Matthew Kameron and Mrs Natalie Shaw.
