It is hard to believe how very quickly the past several weeks have gone as we embark on the closing days of another academic school year. The students across the Middle School have been exceptionally studious to complete assessments and partake in numerous rehearsals for a plethora of Term 4 events and highlights. The Year 9 Dance and Drama Performance Evening was insightful, thought provoking and delightfully entertaining, incorporating the varied talents of many across the cohort, who drew a large audience. Equally awe inspiring were the artistic talents on display during the School’s Art Exhibition showcasing the flair, creativity and inspiration of our student body. The lively entertainment provided by our very own Middle School musos created a festive concert atmosphere amidst the backdrop of Twilight Markets on a balmy evening.

The Year 7’s experienced a fun filled frolic at the Perth Zoo while a contingent of Year 9’s enjoyed an excursion of Circus Skills to round off their own circus tricks honed throughout the semester. The Year 8’s successfully conducted the House Captain Elections for 2020 and the newly appointed candidates were presented with their badges at the Years 7-8 Presentation Evening on December 10th.   Week 8 was a busy week as we transitioned the eldest Middle School cohort into the Senior School, with a farewell Graduation Presentation Evening hosted for the Year 9’s on Wednesday 4th December.  These were both very special events and I enjoyed welcoming the family and friends of our students as we join celebrated the varied academic achievements and accomplishments of our conscientious students. I also take this opportunity to wish each Middle School family and student a very safe and happy festive season with blessings for a wonderfully restful and rejuvenating summer holiday to return refreshed and rearing to commence the new 2020 schooling year with vigour.

Best wishes
