The Primary School was involved with Kreasi Indonesia last Saturday, 14th October,  held in the city at Forrest Place. Kreasi Indonesia is an annual cultural event in Western Australia, which showcases the diversity of artistry, dance and cuisine throughout Indonesia. Select students from the Primary School were selected to perform in the main dance event, Spirit of Garuda.   This performance included students from two schools, as well as a dancers from a dance company.

Our School was invited by the Consulate of Indonesia to participate and students were given several months of instruction by the lovely Ibu Nona, who runs the dance company Jatayu Productions. The School’s invitation resulted from the Consul General of Indonesia and his wife attending the fabulous Primary Integrated Indonesian Art Festival held in Term 1 this year.
