On Friday 17th March, Peter Moyes had its annual Pay it Forward Day. It was another fabulous day full of joy, kindness as well as lots of glitter!!

As part of our year long promotion of good mental health through positive behaviours, Pay it Forward Day is a mental health awareness day where the goal is to make people aware and remind them how their kind actions, words and treatment to others can have such a positive effect on other individuals!

Pay it Forward Day is a day where we aim to do good things for people that we would not normally do in order to make them feel good, make their lives easier and possibly make their day that little bit better! As a result we hope that these acts of kindness and its ‘feel good effect’ reminds students to continue their efforts of making others feel good throughout the entire year.

This year the students were to do 3 good deeds to 3 different individuals in order to receive a jar of  glitter and  be sprinkled with "fairy dust" by our House Captains! Our leaders also handed out flowers to the students which seemed to brighten up everyone’s day!

Overall, the entire day was an absolute success and was incredibly wonderful to watch everyone beam with happiness and excitement.
