We will remember them.

On Wednesday 12th November, students from Years 1 to 11 gathered for our Remembrance Day Service. Students and staff came together to share a minutes silence and to hear about the meaning of the red poppy and why this day is special to Australians. We also sung the national anthem, listened to the last post, poems and readings, and shared prayers of remembrance.

This year the service was made extra special, with social distancing restrictions we have not be able to gather large amounts of students together throughout the year but today we were able to assemble in this manner.

Please take a moment to think about the many members of the Australian Defence Force currently serving in parts of our country while away from their families and all those men and women who have served and defended our country in the past and at present.

Lest we forget.
