During the week of the 18th June until 22nd June, the Year 10 Cohort participated in Work Experience.

We had students attend VET clinics, Universities, Schools, Business Administration Centres, Warehouses, and Restaurants to name but a few places.

Feedback from supervisors was extremely positive and students should have each received a review from their supervisor stating how well they performed for the week.

Some feedback included;

“….went well – closer in behaviour and ability to an undergrad!”

“Polite and positive student, a pleasure to have.”

“Has potential in the industry and welcome back for work placement in Year 11.”

A big thank you to all our supervisors for assisting students gain experience and much needed employability skills that are transferable across many industries.

Students should consider going back to the same workplace or a different one in the last week of the year, if they are not involved with Peer Support Training or TRY-A-TRADE at that time.

More information to follow, closer to the end of the year.
