Facilities Manager
The School is seeking a experienced and professional Facilities Manager to join our fast-paced and dynamic Business and Administration team.The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the staff and students in an efficient and effective manner, to enable their delivery of our core business, teaching and learning. The presentation, maintenance, security and safety of Peter Moyes Anglican Community School (PMACS) are of paramount importance. The Facilities Manager is also responsible for ensuring the property and maintenance services are provided to a high level that maintains the School at the fore front of educational practice.
This position is full time, ongoing.
Daily hours are 7.00am to 3.00pm, however some flexibility is required for evening events and meetings. Start date to be negotiated with the successful candidate, to commence as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities - Facilities and Property
- Ensure the Contracted property and maintenance services are carried out effectively with minimal interruption to the provision of educational services. The Contracted services currently in operation and which are reviewed from time to time, include;
- Cleaning
- Security Monitoring
- Security Surveillance
- Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance as required (numerous contractors)
- Manage Facilities’ and Grounds’ Budgets
- Develop, implement and maintain a breakdown maintenance system
- Develop, implement and maintain a preventative maintenance system
- Responsible for the day-to-day security of all School property and respond to after-hours call outs, as required
- Allocate and keep records of security codes
- Undertake day to day maintenance and logistical support
- Supervision and Management of other Grounds and Maintenance Staff
- Ensure all equipment, plant and materials are maintained in good order and accurate records are kept
- Support the project delivery of the School’s major or minor capital works
- Interact with AngliSchools Head Office and other AngliSchools as required
Essential Selection Criteria
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working With Children Check
- First Aid and CPR qualification
Desirable Selection Criteria
- Competent with MS Office Suite
- Experience using Facilities Management Systems
- Experience using “Mastt”, Project Management software
