Congratulations to all students who competed at the recent ACC Cross Country Carnival, 2nd place is an outstanding result and reflects the ‘Hardwork, Dedication & Ambition’ that each and every member of the squad demonstrated not only on the day but also in their preparation leading up to what is the biggest event on the ACC Inter-School Sport Calendar. We are truly proud of all members of the Squad, with many members of the squad representing the school every year and this is now our 6th year finishing in the Top 3 schools. With over 60 schools competing and up to 350 athletes per race this consistency in performing at such a high standard is testament to the students and staff representing the school.

 Most students, if not all, attained personal best’s and improved significantly on their Inter-House and SSWA times. We finished only 80 points behind Sacred Heart College and led the Overall Aggregate points tally for most of the day with some excellent results in our younger age groups. This clearly shows the importance of depth across all age groups and genders and in particular establishing a common goal with each and every member of the team pushing each other to perform at their very best.

This was the equal most number of ACC All Stars Selections across all schools.
Many thanks to Mr. McCorkindale and Mrs. Norris who acted as ACC Officials as well as Year 11 students Robbie Stevens and Josh Tasmer who acted as student officials. A big thanks as well to Mrs. Webster whom also assisted with breakfast post training. We are also fortunate to have the expertise  of Alumni Savannah Steinbach whom assisted in coaching and managing the Squad along with the coaching team of Physical Education Staff.
