We are proud to share our new Master Plan: Building Tomorrow Together. This Master Plan honours the solid foundations that saw us through from 1999, finalised with the addition of the Chapel in 2019. This next chapter in our story represents Peter Moyes Anglican Community Schools' commitment to shaping an exceptional, future-focussed and welcoming environment for the students, families and community of today and for decades to come.

Guided by our Values and Strategic Plan, our Master Plan aims to create environments where students are active participants in their learning, supported by progressive, innovative teaching that embraces contemporary pedagogy and inquiry-driven practice.

What is the Peter Moyes Anglican Community School Master Plan?

The Master Plan is the School’s long‑term blueprint for upgrading facilities, improving learning environments, and ensuring the School continues to meet the needs of students now and into the future. It outlines staged developments that will be delivered over several years.

How did the School students, families, staff and community stakeholders help to inform the Master Plan?

Collaborative workshops inviting parent feedback, staff insights, student needs, and community expectations were conducted over the past couple of years to inform the development of the Master Plan. We will continue to invite input as the project moves through each stage.

What are the key benefits of the Master Plan?

Students will experience:

- A more engaging and supportive environment for learning and wellbeing

Every stage of the plan is designed with students at the centre.

What are the key stages of the Master Plan?

Stage One: focuses on the expansion and refurbishment of the Primary School, which has remained largely unchanged since its original construction in 2000. Key elements of this stage include enclosing the undercover courts to create a multi-purpose hall, provision of new classroom, meeting and specialist spaces, and additional car parking spaces. This stage also includes covering the hard courts on the North Oval and residential development on a portion of the vacant land on Salerno Drive.

Stage Two: focuses on the refurbishment of the Allan Shaw Centre and Technologies Building. Key elements of this stage include the relocation of the Loading Bay to allow space for a commercial food technology room, refurbishment of Technologies classrooms and workshop facilities, and renovation of the Allan Shaw Centre to increase capacity and improve facilities for both internal and external events. This stage will also see the development of a childcare centre on the retained portion of vacant land on Salerno Drive.

Stage Three: focuses on the refurbishment of the Science block, plus improvements to the Administration and Student Services areas.

Alongside the major stages, there will be several smaller projects to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of the School.

Will learning be disrupted during construction?

We are committed to minimising disruption. Construction will be carefully staged, with safety as the top priority. Temporary adjustments may occur, but teaching and learning will continue as normal. Families will be kept informed ahead of any changes.

How long will the Master Plan take to complete?

The Master Plan is a multi‑year project delivered in stages. This approach ensures financial sustainability, reduces disruption, and allows us to adapt to changing needs over time. Each stage will have its own timeline, which will be communicated clearly.

Current projects

• Creation of 73 new car parking bays on the western side of the North Oval. These car bays will be used for staff and student parking, freeing up some spaces outside the Administration building for parent parking. Construction will take place from September to November 2026.
