Already, the 2019 ACC Swimming Team is being considered as we aim to retain our position in ‘B’ Division following promotion this year!
Critical to this will be our Division II Freestyle Relay Teams, most of whom will be a member of Surf Lifesaving and not necessarily competitive club swimmers.
This activity is ideally suited to those wishing to qualify and be considered for the ACC ‘B’ Division Swimming Squad.
Training and freestyle stroke development will take place on Wednesday mornings before school in Term 4.
Training will focus upon stroke development in preparation for the ACC ‘B’ Division Swimming Carnival in 2019. Transport back to School from Arena Joondalup is also provided. Sessions commence Wednesday 17th October (Week 2) and conclude Wednesday 21st November (Week 7). It is expected that students make a full commitment for the duration of the Term.
Students will have been selected on the basis of their performance and potential squad involvement this year; however, should you wish for your child to be involved in this opportunity, please feel free to contact me.
The ACC ‘B’ Division Inter-School Swimming Carnival will be held at Challenge Stadium on Tuesday 26th March, 2019. This gives your child the opportunity to compete against other ACC Schools.
