After sitting and singing so well in the Peter Moyes Day Service, Year 7 to 12 students were given the opportunity to participate in several activities that encompassed all learning areas of the School. Year 7 students demonstrated their ability to improvise and think quickly on their feet in Theatre Sports. This had been the focus for their House Sport in Term Two and was once again run superbly by Ms Peta Flanigan. The Year 8 students participated in Tabloid Sports ably organised by their Team Leaders including tug-of-war and Indonesian Sepak Takraw ball game, dodging the threatening rainclouds on the Oval. Students in Years 7 to 12 were participating or spectating in a number of sports; netball, volleyball, basketball and soccer with staff joining in to play! Other activities around the School involved students across Middle and Senior School participating in drumming with John Trotter, a collaborative art project, cake and cupcake decorating and a board game tournament in the library.

Luckily the rain stayed away long enough for the students and staff to enjoy various fun activities on a blustery, but bright afternoon to celebrate the life of Peter Moyes and our School. The day ended with all our students enthusiastically eating a celebratory cookie provided by our Café.
