The Term Four Middle School Awards Assembly took place on Friday of Week 7, due to the Year 9 students finishing Middle School in Week 8. As always it was a celebration of student achievement, across all areas of the curriculum.

The new design of the Colours and Honours badges were proving to be popular as we presented both from the four areas of achievement; Academic, Sporting, Cultural and Service. More Academic Colours and Honours will be presented at our end of Year presentation evenings this week and next.

Certificates of Merit were presented to two students in each year level whose artwork was chosen as standouts amongst the high standard of artwork that was showcased in the Art Exhibition. Amy MacDonald once again impressed everyone with her guitar and vocal solo of ‘Autumn Leaves’ by Ed Sheeran.

I also had the privilege of announcing the two Honours Award winners; a prestigious award given to students who demonstrate the School Values and have particularly achieved their personal best. This term’s winners were Jordan Woodman and Mekhi Adams (Yr. 9) who both demonstrate outstanding commitment to their studies and the wider School community.

The Middle School Team Leaders Award is given to any student who Team Leaders feel deserve recognition for a variety of reasons; improvement, effort, demonstrating School Values or particular contributions to the School. We were delighted to present the Awards to the following students:
